CryptoQuant warns of extreme USDT liquidity pressure, Bitcoin price may be approaching the bottom
PANews reported on February 23 that CryptoQuant posted an analysis on X, stating that USDT is currently under extreme liquidity pressure, similar to the market bottom in 2022. At the same time, the net inflow of stablecoins into exchanges has dropped from a high of $616 million in November 2025 to $27 million, indicating that marginal buying power is weakening and "liquidity deployable to the crypto market is contracting." In addition, prediction market data shows that traders are increasing their bets on further downside for bitcoin. On the decentralized prediction platform Polymarket, the probability of bitcoin falling below $55,000 has risen to 72%, with a total contract trading volume of $1.2 billion. The probabilities of falling below $50,000 and $45,000 are 67% and 47%, respectively, with corresponding trading volumes of approximately $170,000 and $1.4 billion.
