Home Depot Reports Strong Fourth-Quarter Earnings
Home Depot Inc., headquartered in Atlanta, announced on Tuesday that it achieved a net profit of $2.57 billion during its fiscal fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $2.58 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding amortization expenses—coming in at $2.72 per share.
These figures outperformed analysts’ predictions. According to Zacks Investment Research, the consensus estimate among 12 analysts was $2.52 per share.
Home Depot’s revenue for the quarter reached $38.2 billion, also topping expectations. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks had projected revenue of $38.18 billion.
