Gelonghui, February 25th|According to Reuters, the controversy over Trump tariffs continues, with multiple multinational companies joining the ranks to demand refunds of tariffs paid under emergency trade measures. French beauty giant L'Oréal, British home appliance brand Dyson, and contact lens manufacturer Bausch & Lomb filed lawsuits on Monday seeking refunds of emergency tariffs imposed by Trump. The related lawsuits were submitted to the U.S. Court of International Trade later on Monday. In addition to the above companies, FedEx and American skincare brand Sol de Janeiro also filed similar lawsuits this week. Court documents show that since last year's "Liberation Day" tariff measures, more than 1,400 importers have filed lawsuits, including Costco and Goodyear Tire. The trade law community expects that a new wave of corporate lawsuits may emerge in the future, with the amount potentially reaching several billions of dollars.
