Financial Times: Strategy becomes the most shorted component stock in the US
Foresight News reported, citing the Financial Times, that according to Goldman Sachs' hedge fund holdings data, among all U.S. companies with a market capitalization exceeding $25 billion, MicroStrategy Inc. (stock symbol: MSTR) ranks first with a short interest ratio of approximately 14%. Other cloud computing and crypto companies, including CoreWeave (CRWV) and a certain exchange, rank third and fourth, respectively.
The so-called "Short Interest as % of market cap" refers to the proportion of a company's total market capitalization represented by the market value of shares borrowed and sold short.
