Salesforce Surpasses Earnings and Revenue Projections in Fourth Quarter
Salesforce, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, announced on Wednesday that it achieved a net income of $1.94 billion for its fiscal fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $2.07 per share, while adjusted earnings—excluding certain one-time items—reached $3.81 per share.
These results exceeded analysts’ expectations, as the consensus forecast from 14 analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research had anticipated earnings of $3.03 per share.
Salesforce, a leader in customer relationship management software, generated $11.2 billion in revenue during the quarter, also outperforming Wall Street’s projection of $11.17 billion.
For the full fiscal year, Salesforce posted a profit of $7.46 billion, or $7.80 per share, with total revenue amounting to $41.53 billion.
Outlook for the Upcoming Quarter and Year
Looking ahead to the quarter ending in April, Salesforce forecasts earnings per share between $3.11 and $3.13.
The company anticipates revenue for the fiscal first quarter to be between $11.03 billion and $11.08 billion.
For the entire fiscal year, Salesforce projects earnings per share in the range of $13.11 to $13.19, with expected revenue between $45.8 billion and $46.2 billion.
