Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Canadian Solar closed down 5.3% initially, New Oriental fell 5.1%, Daqo New Energy dropped 2.9%, XPeng declined 2.7%, GDS Holdings fell 2.4%, NetEase and Li Auto both dropped more than 1%, Alibaba and Tencent fell by up to about 0.5%, Vipshop rose 1.9%, Atour gained 2.5%, and KE Holdings increased by 3%.
