ChainCatcher reported that the crypto industry super political action committee named Fellowship PAC made a high-profile announcement last September to raise 100 million USD for the 2026 US midterm elections, and there were reports suggesting a possible connection with Tether. However, according to the latest disclosure documents from the Federal Election Commission, the committee currently has zero funds on its books and has not actually raised or spent any money. A Tether spokesperson stated this week that Tether International has no affiliation or supervisory relationship with Fellowship.
