PSEG Announces Fourth-Quarter Financial Results
Public Service Enterprise Group Inc., headquartered in Newark, New Jersey, reported a net income of $315 million for the fourth quarter.
The company’s earnings amounted to $0.63 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding one-time expenses—coming in at $0.72 per share.
These results surpassed analysts’ expectations, as the consensus from five analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research was $0.71 per share.
PSEG, the parent company of PSEG Power and Public Service Electric & Gas Co., generated $2.92 billion in revenue during the quarter, exceeding the $2.58 billion anticipated by four Zacks analysts.
For the full year, PSEG reported a profit of $2.11 billion, or $4.22 per share, with total revenue reaching $12.17 billion.
The company projects its earnings for the coming year to fall between $4.28 and $4.40 per share.
