MannKind Corp. Reports Fourth Quarter Financial Results

MannKind Corp., headquartered in Danbury, Connecticut, announced on Thursday that it recorded a net loss of $15.9 million for the fourth quarter.

This translates to a loss of 5 cents per share for the period.

The company’s quarterly performance fell short of Wall Street’s expectations, as analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research had anticipated a smaller loss of just 1 cent per share.

Despite the loss, MannKind’s revenue for the quarter reached $112 million, exceeding the consensus estimate of $96.8 million from four Zacks analysts.

Looking at the full year, MannKind reported a net income of $5.9 million, or 2 cents per share, with total revenue amounting to $349 million.
