Perpetual contract exchange Decibel launches on Aptos mainnet
Foresight News reported, according to CoinDesk, that Decibel, an on-chain perpetual contract exchange incubated by Aptos Labs, has now launched on the Aptos mainnet. Decibel adopts a centralized limit order book, with order placement, matching, settlement, and risk management all completed on-chain. The Decibel Foundation stated that it plans to add spot markets, multi-collateral accounts, and tokenized real-world assets, aiming to expand its business beyond crypto derivatives over time.
Before the mainnet launch, its public testnet attracted over 700,000 unique accounts and 132,000 daily active users. During the testing period, users executed more than 1 million transactions daily, and over $58 million was raised through a pre-deposit campaign prior to the mainnet launch.
