US Senator responds to SBF seeking pardon: If the CLARITY Act applies, the sentence could far exceed 25 years
According to Odaily, in response to SBF's post on X stating that the CLARITY Act will become an important milestone in the history of cryptocurrency development and a major achievement for Trump, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis replied that SBF is seeking a pardon but does not realize that the CLARITY Act would sentence him to far more than 25 years in prison. She emphasized that her legislative proposal is "completely different" from the bill SBF tried to buy from Congress in 2022, and made it clear that "we neither need nor want SBF's support."
