Wikipedia Co-founder: Bitcoin Unlikely to Become Dominant Currency, Price May Fall Below $10,000 by 2050
According to Odaily, Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales stated on social media that while the view that Bitcoin will "go to zero" may not be accurate, its long-term price outlook remains questionable.
He pointed out that the Bitcoin network is relatively robust by design and could continue to operate unless there is a major cryptographic vulnerability or an extreme event such as a 51% attack. However, he believes that Bitcoin may not be able to achieve dominance as a currency or a store of value.
Based on this assessment, Wales stated that by 2050, the price of Bitcoin could fall back to below $10,000 in today's value, or even lower.
