Citi executive: Plans to launch infrastructure integrating bitcoin into the banking system

Foresight News reported, citing Bitcoin Magazine, that Nisha Surendran, Head of Digital Asset Custody at Citibank, stated that the bank plans to launch infrastructure integrating bitcoin into the banking system. "Later this year, Citi will introduce infrastructure that incorporates bitcoin into traditional finance. We will first provide core custody capabilities, institutional-grade key management, and wallet infrastructure."
