Net long positions in ICE Brent and WTI crude oil increased by 71,179 contracts to 413,401 contracts, reaching a roughly 13-month high. Net long positions in NYMEX gasoline reached a 12-week high, while net long positions in NYMEX heating oil hit a three-week high. Net long positions in NYMEX natural gas fell to a 14-month low.
