PeckShield: Stolen funds in the crypto sector reached $26.5 million in February 2026, down 98.2% year-on-year
BlockBeats news, on March 1, PeckShield released a report showing that in February 2026, there were a total of 15 hacking incidents in the crypto industry, with cumulative losses of $26.5 million. Compared to February 2025 (losses of $1.5 billion, of which one exchange lost $1.4 billion), this represents a year-on-year decrease of 98.2%; and a month-on-month decrease of 69.2% compared to January 2026 (losses of $86.01 million).
