Sullivan is succeeding Steve Laxton, who was appointed president and chief operating officer at the beginning of the year. Sullivan currently serves as the vice president and treasurer in charge of investor relations. He joined the firm in 2022 as general manager of investor relations.

On January 28, 2026, UBS analyst Andrew Jones reduced Nucor Corporation (NYSE:NUE) to Neutral from Buy while raising his price objective to $183 from $168.
