U.S. Treasury yields rise as tensions escalate in the Middle East

U.S. Treasury yields mostly rose during the Asian trading session as Middle East geopolitical tensions intensified and risk aversion remained controlled. According to data from the London Stock Exchange Group, the two-year Treasury yield rose by 1 basis point to 3.388%, the 10-year Treasury yield increased by 0.2 basis points to 3.963%, and the 30-year Treasury yield climbed by 1.9 basis points to 4.650%. The 10-year Treasury yield had touched an 11-month low of 3.926% during the session. Michael Brown from Pepperstone stated that geopolitical events are the main focus this week, but the economic calendar remains busy.
