UK 2-year/10-year government bond yields rise by more than 14 basis points

Two-year UK gilt yields rose by 11.3 basis points to 3.638%. Thirty-year UK gilt yields increased by 4.3 basis points, and fifty-year UK gilt yields rose by 6.7 basis points. The yield spread between 2-year and 10-year UK gilts widened by 2.884 basis points to +73.429 basis points, with a gap opening at 16:00 (UTC+8) to +79.499 basis points, before gradually retreating.
