Thor Industries Announces Second-Quarter Financial Results
Thor Industries Inc., headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, revealed on Tuesday that it achieved a net profit of $17.8 million for its fiscal second quarter.
The company reported earnings of 34 cents per share, while adjusted earnings—excluding one-time gains—came in at 4 cents per share.
These figures exceeded analysts’ expectations, as a consensus of six experts polled by Zacks Investment Research had anticipated earnings of just 3 cents per share.
During the quarter, the recreational vehicle manufacturer generated $2.13 billion in revenue, outperforming the $1.98 billion forecasted by four analysts surveyed by Zacks.
Looking ahead, Thor Industries projects its annual earnings per share to fall between $3.75 and $4.25, with anticipated revenue ranging from $9 billion to $9.5 billion.
