Live Nation to stand trial in the US over monopoly allegations

格隆汇 March 3｜Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation will stand trial in the United States, accused of dominating the live event market in ways that harm artists, venues, and fans. This jury trial in Manhattan symbolizes bipartisan efforts to address affordability issues through antitrust action. The case was filed during the Biden administration in 2024 and is jointly prosecuted by the U.S. Department of Justice and a coalition including most U.S. states. If the Department of Justice wins, Live Nation may be required to sell Ticketmaster or restructure its contracts.
