Jinse Finance reported that Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick posted on the X platform stating that Texas Senator Charles Schwertner has received the Republican nomination for Senate District 5. Previously, in January 2025, Charles Schwertner submitted the SB778 bill to establish a state-level bitcoin strategic reserve.
