Eurozone Economic Activity Accelerates in February
According to the latest HCOB PMI® survey, the Eurozone experienced a notable increase in economic activity during February. Stronger demand for both goods and services contributed to this momentum, marking the 14th consecutive month of growth in the private sector.
Businesses expressed heightened optimism about the future, with confidence levels reaching their highest point since May 2024. However, outstanding work continued to decline, even as employment figures remained largely stable, suggesting that companies had additional capacity available.
On the inflation front, survey results indicated that input costs rose at their fastest rate since April 2023. Meanwhile, prices charged by firms also saw an upward trend.
