An exchange-incubated DEX Byreal Releases First Open-Source Command-Line Interface Tool for AI Agents
BlockBeats News, March 4th, Emily Real Freeman, founder of Byreal, the first on-chain DEX incubated by an exchange, announced on social media that Byreal's Command Line Interface (CLI) has been open-sourced, marking its first protocol interface designed for an AI agent. Unlike a regular API wrapper or chatbot interface, Byreal CLI redefines the interaction between protocol and machine from an architectural level, providing deterministic execution, intent-constrained actions, and Agent capabilities focused on understanding users, making the system more secure and reliable by design.
Byreal CLI offers AI Agents three key primitives: identity, wallet (asset control), and permissionless execution environment, which only cryptographic technology can simultaneously support. Agents can freely discover, execute, and learn through a single command, including one-click liquidity pool analysis (APR estimation, risk rating, LP range suggestions), with documentation and interfaces designed for AI execution.
The new Copy Farmer feature enables Agents to automatically replicate top-tier liquidity provision strategies. Byreal believes that in about two years, more DeFi transaction volume will flow through AI Agents rather than front-end interfaces. Projects that proactively optimize protocols for Agents will gain a routing advantage, while protocols that do not keep up may become forgotten background systems.
