Maximize Your Stock Market Potential with Zacks Premium

Whether you're new to investing or have years of experience, making the most of the stock market and investing with assurance are shared ambitions. Zacks Premium offers a variety of tools to help you reach these goals.

With features such as daily updates to the Zacks Rank and Industry Rank, unrestricted access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, comprehensive equity research reports, and advanced stock screening tools, this service is designed to help you become a more knowledgeable and confident investor.

Subscribers also benefit from the Zacks Style Scores, adding another layer of insight to your investment decisions.

Understanding Zacks Style Scores

Created to complement the Zacks Rank, the Zacks Style Scores are a set of indicators that assist investors in identifying stocks with the highest potential to outperform the market in the next month.

Each stock receives a letter grade—A, B, C, D, or F—based on its value, growth, and momentum attributes. An A rating signals stronger potential than a B, and so forth, making higher scores more desirable for outperformance.

The Style Scores are divided into four main categories:

Value Score

Value investors seek quality stocks trading below their intrinsic worth before the market recognizes their potential. The Value Score uses metrics like price-to-earnings, PEG, price-to-sales, and price-to-cash flow ratios to identify undervalued opportunities.

Growth Score

Growth-focused investors prioritize a company's future prospects and financial strength. The Growth Score evaluates factors such as projected and historical earnings, sales, and cash flow to pinpoint companies likely to experience sustained expansion.

Momentum Score

Momentum investors capitalize on prevailing trends in stock prices or earnings forecasts. The Momentum Score considers short-term price changes and shifts in earnings estimates to help identify optimal moments to invest in high-momentum stocks.

VGM Score

If you prefer a blended approach, the VGM Score combines value, growth, and momentum ratings into a single, comprehensive measure. This score helps highlight stocks that excel across all three styles, making it a powerful tool when used alongside the Zacks Rank.

Integrating Style Scores with the Zacks Rank

The Zacks Rank is a proprietary rating system that leverages changes in earnings estimates to guide investors toward building successful portfolios.

Since 1988, stocks rated #1 (Strong Buy) have delivered an average annual return of +23.86%, more than twice the S&P 500's performance over the same period. With over 200 stocks often holding a Strong Buy rating and another 600 at #2 (Buy), choosing the right investments can be daunting.

This is where Style Scores become invaluable.

For the best chance at strong returns, focus on stocks with a Zacks Rank of #1 or #2 and Style Scores of A or B. Even if considering stocks rated #3 (Hold), prioritize those with top Style Scores to maximize upside potential.

Because Style Scores are designed to work in tandem with the Zacks Rank, any changes in a company's earnings outlook should influence your investment choices.

For example, a stock rated #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell), even with high Style Scores, likely faces declining earnings expectations and increased risk of price drops.

Owning more stocks with a #1 or #2 Rank and A or B Style Scores increases your chances for success.

Featured Stock: Masco (MAS)

Based in Taylor, Michigan, Masco Corporation specializes in manufacturing, selling, and installing home improvement and building products, operating through two main business segments.

Currently, MAS holds a #3 (Hold) Zacks Rank and an A-rated VGM Score.

The company also earns a B for its Value Score, reflecting favorable valuation metrics such as a forward P/E ratio of 16.27, making it attractive to value investors.

In the past two months, four analysts have raised their earnings projections for fiscal 2026, with the Zacks Consensus Estimate now at $4.18 per share. MAS has also achieved an average earnings surprise of +3.8%.

With strong rankings and impressive Style Scores, MAS stands out as a stock worth considering for your portfolio.

Top Analyst’s "Best Pick to Double"

Out of thousands of stocks, five Zacks experts have each selected their top choice for potential gains of 100% or more in the coming months. Among these, Director of Research Sheraz Mian has identified one stock with the greatest potential for explosive growth.

This company appeals to millennial and Gen Z consumers and generated nearly $1 billion in revenue last quarter. A recent dip in its share price presents a compelling entry point. While not all top picks achieve such results, this stock could outperform previous Zacks selections like Nano-X Imaging, which soared over 129% in just over nine months.
