Nvidia is unable to commit $100 billion to OpenAI because of the IPO, according to CEO Jensen.
Nvidia CEO Comments on OpenAI Investment Prospects
On March 4, Nvidia's chief executive Jensen Huang remarked that investing $100 billion in OpenAI is unlikely, as the company behind ChatGPT is preparing for a public offering later this year.
Speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom conference on Wednesday, Huang stated, "We're planning to invest $30 billion in OpenAI. However, the chance to invest $100 billion is probably off the table, mainly because they're moving toward going public."
