Show original
Golden Ten Data March 5th|Bayer announced that a US judge has given preliminary approval to its $7.25 billions settlement plan to resolve the ongoing Roundup herbicide litigation. Bayer expects that the settlement payments will result in negative free cash flow in 2026. The class action settlement plan was proposed in February this year, with some plaintiffs who had used the herbicide claiming to have developed lymphoma, but Bayer has consistently denied these allegations. According to the statement, after preliminary approval by the Missouri Circuit Court, members of the class action may opt out or raise objections within 90 days, with the deadline set for June 4th.
