US-listed company CIMG signs strategic agreement to acquire core assets of DeFi protocol iZUMi Finance
ChainCatcher News: According to market sources, Nasdaq-listed company CIMG Inc. (Nasdaq code: IMG) has signed a strategic agreement with iZUMi Finance, planning to acquire the latter’s core patents, intellectual property, and other key assets.
This acquisition builds upon previous cooperation between the two parties, including the jointly launched $20 millions Upstarts Fund. By integrating iZUMi Finance’s multi-chain liquidity technology, liquidity management mechanisms, and governance infrastructure, CIMG aims to strengthen its decentralized finance (DeFi) architecture and deepen its presence in the on-chain liquidity market. As part of the acquisition framework, CIMG also plans to acquire $IZI tokens for long-term staking and participation in the governance of the iZUMi ecosystem. This move is expected to enhance on-chain capital efficiency and support the optimization of bitcoin yield generation in CIMG’s treasury. iZUMi Finance is a multi-chain DeFi protocol, whose flagship product iZiSwap is a multi-chain decentralized exchange based on innovative DL-AMM design.
