Regional conflicts cast a shadow over Gulf economies, investment banks warn of capital outflow risks

Golden Ten Data reported on March 5 that analysts from First Abu Dhabi Bank stated in a report that, due to the escalation of regional conflicts, the Gulf Arab region will face some "particularly severe challenges" in the coming week, which will bring more attention to regional economic data. They pointed out: "We realize that over the past week, even if not globally, at least the macroeconomic outlook for the region has become more challenging and filled with uncertainty." The analysts believe that, compared to previous situations, the market will pay extremely high attention to the data released by the Gulf Arab region in the coming weeks. They stated: "Among the upcoming data releases, we will closely monitor the reserve asset data of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to look for any obvious signs of intervention or capital outflows."
