Storage module giant ADATA: Inventories of the three major manufacturers are approaching the warning line, and multiple cloud service providers are proactively seeking long-term contracts
Show original
Golden Ten Data reported on March 6 that Chen Libai, Chairman of ADATA, stated that the current inventory of the three major original storage manufacturers is at a safe level of about 3 to 5 weeks, which is approaching the warning line. DRAM and NAND prices are rising simultaneously, and it is expected that the three major manufacturers may see price increases of up to 40% in the second quarter. Chen Libai also mentioned that several major cloud service providers have already negotiated long-term contracts and future annual supply arrangements in advance. Some companies that were not originally ADATA customers have also proactively approached due to tight supply, seeking a more stable secondary supply source outside of the original manufacturers.
