Kazakhstan Central Bank: Brent crude oil average price expected to be $66.30 in 2026

⑴ The central bank of Kazakhstan, the largest oil-producing country in Central Asia, predicts that under the baseline scenario, the average price of Brent crude oil will be $66.30 per barrel in 2026. ⑵ In a statement, the bank said that due to the impact of the Middle East conflict, the baseline scenario expects Brent crude oil prices to temporarily exceed previous expectations in the first half of the year. Based on the global supply and demand balance, oil prices are expected to gradually fall back to around $60 per barrel.
