Embraer Surpasses Earnings Expectations in Fourth Quarter

Embraer SA, headquartered in Sao Paulo, announced a net income of $83.3 million for the final quarter of the year.

The company reported earnings of 45 cents per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding one-time expenses—reaching 83 cents per share.

These figures outperformed analyst predictions, as a consensus of four experts polled by Zacks Investment Research had anticipated earnings of just 17 cents per share.

During the quarter, Embraer generated $2.65 billion in revenue, surpassing the $2.47 billion forecasted by three Zacks analysts.

For the entire year, Embraer recorded a profit of $351.9 million, or $1.92 per share, on total revenue of $7.58 billion.
