According to Jinse Finance, escalating tensions in the Middle East have triggered a surge in international oil prices, resulting in a "Black Monday" for Asia-Pacific stock markets, with multiple countries' stock markets opening lower and continuing to decline. The Korea KOSPI index once plummeted over 8%, triggering an intraday circuit breaker. The Nikkei 225 index dropped more than 7% at one point, the Vietnam VN 30 index fell over 6%, and the Australia SP/ASX200 index and Indonesia Composite Index both dropped more than 4%.
