Show original
Golden Ten Data reported on March 9 that Minna Kuusisto, Chief Economist at Danske Bank, stated in a report that although short-term inflation expectations in the market have recently risen, major central banks are unlikely to respond by raising interest rates. Kuusisto said, "They also shouldn't do so." She noted that this is a typical negative supply shock, which is beyond the control of central banks, while longer-term inflation expectations remain stable.
