Despite the tense situation in the Middle East, Venture Global LNG has issued a letter to customers of the Plaquemines Phase I project, explicitly committing to deliver LNG cargoes strictly according to the contractual schedule.

The company emphasized that its supply chain and operational system possess resilience to geopolitical risks, and all logistics nodes are progressing as planned. As an emerging LNG exporter in the United States, Venture Global is accelerating capacity release through its Plaquemines terminal in Louisiana, with the first phase of the project reaching an annual capacity of 10 million tons. This letter of guarantee is mainly aimed at long-term offtakers, including Shell (SHELL PLC), who have previously expressed concerns about potential shipping delays caused by regional conflicts. Industry analysts point out that, against the backdrop of a tight global energy supply and demand landscape, the performance stability of U.S. LNG suppliers is becoming a focal point of market attention.
