AN2 Therapeutics Prices $40M Private Placement With Warrants

According to the company, the financing includes the sale of 8,245,611 common shares at $2.85 each, along with pre-funded warrants for up to 5,789,493 additional shares at a nearly identical purchase price. The deal is expected to close on March 10, pending customary closing conditions.

The offering drew participation from both new and existing institutional investors, including Coastlands Capital, Commodore Capital and Vivo Capital, suggesting strong backing from healthcare-focused funds. Leerink Partners is serving as the exclusive placement agent.

AN2 said that it plans to file a registration statement covering the resale of the shares and stock issuable upon exercise of the pre-funded warrants.

AN2 Pipeline Targets Infectious And Rare Diseases

AN2 Therapeutics is developing small molecule therapies based on its boron chemistry platform, with programs spanning polycythemia vera, nontuberculous mycobacterial lung disease, Chagas disease and melioidosis, as well as earlier-stage oncology and infectious disease research.
