According to Golden Ten Data on March 10, Iranian Ambassador to China, Fazli, held a press conference in Beijing on the 9th to elaborate on Iran's position regarding the current crisis and the direction of its foreign policy. Ambassador Fazli stated that, as the guarantor of security in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran attaches great importance to the safe passage of ships from all countries. However, if the overall security of the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding areas cannot be ensured, Iran also cannot guarantee the safety of passage through the Strait of Hormuz, and transit through the Strait will be regulated, said Ambassador Fazli. However, this does not equate to closing the Strait.
