格隆汇 March 11|Medical health insurance company Centene expects that by the end of 2026, about 40% of Obamacare members will choose to opt out of insurance coverage; enrollment is set to decline by 36% in the first quarter. Company CEO Sarah London stated that Centene expects the number of participants in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) program to be 3.5 million by the end of the first quarter, compared to 5.5 million members as of December 31 last year. The enhanced tax credits that have made the Obamacare plan more affordable in recent years expired at the beginning of this year, raising widespread concerns about the affordability of health insurance and the sustainability of the ACA market.
