Golden Ten Data, March 11 — According to Reuters, informed sources revealed that since the outbreak of conflict with Iran, the US shipping industry has been making daily requests for military escorts, but all have been rejected by the US Navy on the grounds that the risk of attacks in the Strait of Hormuz is currently too high. Navy assessment reports indicate that oil exports from the Middle East will continue to be disrupted, which contradicts statements made by Trump. Trump had claimed that the US was ready to provide naval escorts at any time to restore regular transportation along this critical route. According to three shipping industry insiders familiar with the matter, the US Navy has been holding regular meetings with stakeholders in the shipping and oil industries, during which it has stated that it is currently unable to provide escort services. One of the sources said that the Navy's assessment presented at Tuesday's briefing has not changed, and that escort vessels will only be considered once the risk of attacks decreases.
