Golden Ten Data reported on March 11 that Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has requested its onshore oil partners to extract Murban crude oil from the Jebel Danna port. According to sources with direct knowledge, among the country’s onshore production projects, at least two of the six equity holders have been informed that the supply due this month should be extracted from this port. However, this key waterway remains effectively closed due to the risk of Iranian attacks. The affected partner companies are reportedly disputing this verbally communicated instruction, and no final decision has been made yet. It is revealed that some of the oil currently possibly required to be shipped to Jebel Danna was originally planned to be loaded at Fujairah port, which is located outside the Strait of Hormuz.
