Golden Ten Data reported on March 11 that maritime security agencies and sources stated on Wednesday that three more vessels were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz, with one attack causing a ship to catch fire. Specifically, the Thai-flagged bulk carrier "Mayuree Naree" was attacked and damaged about 11 nautical miles north of Oman; the Japanese-flagged container ship "One Majesty" was attacked 25 nautical miles (46 kilometers) northwest of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, sustaining minor hull damage; the third attacked vessel was a bulk carrier struck by an unidentified object about 50 nautical miles northwest of Dubai. The latest incidents bring the total number of vessels attacked since the outbreak of the Middle East conflict to at least 14.
