Realloys Inc recently disclosed that its controlled HREMF project is expected to have an annual operating cost of $40 million.

The project plans an annual production capacity of 30 tons of dysprosium and 15 tons of terbium, both of which are key raw materials for the manufacture of permanent magnet materials. According to calculations, once completed, the HREMF project will become an important source of heavy rare earth supply in North America. As strategic resources, dysprosium and terbium play an irreplaceable role in clean energy fields such as electric vehicles and wind power generation. The advancement of this project will help alleviate the tension in the global rare earth supply chain.
