Institutional Analysis: CPI Does Not Change the Assessment of Rising Inflation
Show original
Golden Ten Data reported on March 11 that Robert Pavlik, Senior Portfolio Manager at Dakota Wealth, stated that the CPI report did not significantly change his view, nor did it make the situation more optimistic. If there were no war and oil prices were not fluctuating so dramatically, he would consider the report not very helpful and slightly negative. Because we know that oil prices will have a negative impact on consumer prices, and there is nothing in this report that makes him more optimistic about the inflation outlook. Inflation is rising; the question is just how much it will rise and how long it will last.
