Golden Ten Data reported on March 12, citing CNN, that the head of the Iraq Port Company stated that after two oil tankers were attacked and caught fire in Iraqi territorial waters, they successfully rescued 38 crew members from these two foreign tankers, but at least one person unfortunately died. The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) reported that Iranian underwater unmanned vessels "blew up two oil tankers in the Persian Gulf tonight." The head of the Iraq Port Company said that after the attack, its oil ports had ceased operations. Vessel tracking data showed that at the time of the fire, the two ships were moored side by side. It is reported that the burning ships are the Malta-flagged "Zefyros" and the Marshall Islands-flagged "Safesea Vishnu." The registered shipowner of "Safesea Vishnu" is an American company, while the owner of "Zefyros" is based in Greece.
