Nissan, Uber, Wayve announce robotaxi tie-up
TOKYO, March 12 (Reuters) - Nissan Motor, Uber Technologies and British startup Wayve said on Thursday they will collaborate on the development of robotaxis.
The companies said they will begin preparations for a pilot programme in Tokyo by late 2026 through which they plan to make a Nissan Leaf electric vehicle equipped with Wayve's technology available to customers through Uber.
