Dick's Sporting Goods Reports Strong Fourth-Quarter Results
Dick's Sporting Goods Inc., headquartered in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, announced a net income of $128.3 million for its fiscal fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $1.41 per share. After adjusting for expenses related to mergers, acquisitions, and asset impairments, adjusted earnings reached $4.05 per share.
These results surpassed analysts’ expectations, as the consensus from eight analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research anticipated earnings of $3.36 per share.
Quarterly revenue totaled $6.23 billion, exceeding the $6.09 billion forecasted by six Zacks analysts.
For the full fiscal year, Dick's Sporting Goods achieved a profit of $849.2 million, or $9.97 per share, with total revenue amounting to $17.22 billion.
Looking ahead, the company projects annual earnings between $13.50 and $14.50 per share, and expects revenue to range from $22.1 billion to $22.4 billion.
