Reuters Poll: Majority of Economists Expect Fed to Cut Rates by 25 Basis Points to 3.25%-3.50% Next Quarter

BlockBeats News, March 12th, according to a Reuters survey, out of 96 surveyed economists, 63 (51 out of 101 in February) said that the Federal Reserve will cut the federal funds rate by 25 basis points in the next quarter, to a range of 3.25%-3.50%. Out of 37 surveyed economists, 29 said that the Fed is more likely to keep rates unchanged for a longer period than expected. (Jin10)
