Institution: Asian currencies consolidate, traders focus on oil price trends

Golden Ten Data reported on March 13 that Asian currencies are consolidating against the US dollar, with traders closely monitoring oil prices. The OCBC Bank Research Department stated in a report: "Until the trend of energy prices and the geopolitical situation in Iran become clearer, Asian foreign exchange may still be susceptible to further volatility." The bank added: "Persistently high prices are raising concerns that the conflict could trigger a more lasting, rather than merely temporary, energy shock."
