ChainCatcher news, Etherscan posted on social media stating that Ethereum experienced approximately 17 million poisoning attempts from 2022 to 2024, affecting 1.3 million users, with confirmed losses of at least $79.3 million. After the Fusaka upgrade (December 3, 2025), transaction costs dropped significantly, resulting in an explosive increase in dust transfers, surging by 612%.
