Low liquidity did what it usually does - moves got exaggerated, stops were hit fast, and leverage didn’t survive. By Saturday night, the market had lost around $290 billion in total cap, before prices finally started to stabilize. 🟠 Bitcoin ( $BTC ) Bitcoin slid hard over the weekend, dropping from the high $70Ks to a low near $74,700. That move happened fast and mostly in thin conditions. The important part: BTC found support at levels last seen between April and June last year - and since midnight UTC, it’s slightly green (~+1%). This looks less like panic dumping and more like a classic liquidity flush:  • Leverage got wiped  • Weak hands got shaken out  • Spot selling stayed relatively contained On CME, Bitcoin futures opened with a big gap lower - and those gaps often get filled. That keeps the $80K area very much on traders’ radar. 🟣 Ethereum ( $ETH ) Ethereum followed the same script. Price dipped to around $2,164, then bounced modestly.
