Solana’s open interest dropped to $6.37 billion, showing traders are closing positions or lowering leverage. Long liquidations reached $22 million, far outweighing shorts. Funding rates remain negative, meaning traders are paying to hold short positions, a sign that bearish bets still dominate. ✅ Network Activity Hits Records Despite falling prices, Solana’s network is busier than ever. The blockchain processed 150 million transactions in a single day, its highest total on record. Average speed stayed above 1,700 transactions per second, proving that users are still actively building, trading, and using apps on the network. ✅ DeFi and Tokenized Assets Grow Solana’s DeFi ecosystem continues to expand. A break below $92 could open the door to $85, while reclaiming $100–$113 would ease short-term downside pressure.
